cash, check or credit card are accepted.
Payment is due at the time of service
Although I do not bill insurance directly (click here for info about why), you may be eligible to receive partial reimbursement for our sessions. I am happy to provide you with a monthly “superbill” which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement–note, this will require me to provide an accurate mental health diagnosis which will then enter your permanent medical record, if you have concerns about this, please let me know. You will need to contact your insurance carrier directly to determine if they will cover a portion of my counseling cost as an out-of-network provider.
Fees for Therapy
- 50 minute session……………$140
- 80 minute session*………….$200
*I offer 80 minute appointments for a number of reasons, including but not limited to: sometimes you need more time to settle into your appointment, sometimes a BIG thing happens and you need more time with me to process through it, if you miss a week or two you might feel rushed to catch me up on everything with just 50 minutes, if we are doing EMDR longer sessions give us more time to spend diving into the memory we are working with.
- 50 minute session……………$200
This fee is higher for a number of reasons: 1. it helps you decide if you are ready to commit to yourself through therapy, 2. the first session involves a lot of behind-the-scenes leg work on my end, 3. it ensures that just like you will be committed to our work, I will be too–I won’t be trying to funnel in as many people as I can at a bargain price. In my experience as a client, bargain prices increase the likelihood of you receiving bargain therapy where the therapist is tired, distracted, or not confident they can help you. That’s not what I offer my clients. I promise.
